This how to video created by Tyler Moore shows you how to replace the default blog title text in WordPress to your logo image. This really adds a professional look to any business site In fact, adding a logo image is such a professional standard these days that every premium WordPress theme seems to include an editable logo.

Moore shows you some great time saving techniques for finding the proper file in your WordPress theme and going straight to the code that needs to be edited. He explains what code to change, and what changes to make very clearly. While this may be technical in nature, like the other videos of this sort on this site this is truly a simple task to accomplish.

The technique works fine for adding a logo but would have looked better in the example Moore shows had the image been resized first. The blog title area is usually only 55 – 80 pixels in height so any larger image will have lines above and below it as the image in the video shows. This video does a good job of showing you how to add a logo image to practically any WordPress theme free or otherwise that does not have this feature.
