Add WordPress Footer Links or Text Without Editing Your Theme, Using Free Plugins Do you need to add text or links to the bottom of your WordPress blog? This is how…

WordPress plugins are very versatile. Just about anything you can think of that you might want to do on your WordPress site. The Custom Headers And Footers plugin allows you to enter HTML code for links and styling of text or text links in both the header and footer portion of your blog.

You can use this as the author does on the video to add links for “Contact Us” and “Privacy Policy” to the footer. Every site needs these pages, and you do need to have links on your home page for them. But what if you decide you don’t want those in your top menu? You could add another menu to a widget but the widget would need to be on top to be visible. That’s a bit of a problem as this is “Prime Real Estate” on your home page.

It’s better to add banners or opt-in’s in this area than a menu. That’s where this plugin comes in.

You could create text links in your headers and footers as well with this plugin installed. The possibilities are truly almost endless if you take the time to think about it.
